Ralph Allin

Went to see my nearly next door neighbour. Ralph Allin a violinist.

He was great. A fabulous player but also a great performer who had a great program. 
Lots of well known tunes sometimes with a jazz twist. I'll have to let him know when I bump into him which I have done several times but now I know what he does.

It's colder here as we dock. I put every layer on which works out to be toasty warm despite -8. I'm escorting another tour. WW2 stuff. The cathedral and a museum which due to escorting a mobility issue guest I got there a little late and didn't take any pictures. Then to a barracks with views over the city. The to a U-boat pen. Now to hit the captains cocktail party.

Last night

Ukele learners gave a concert of the songs they'd learnt this cruise. Passed a wind farm and lit up at night. Tonight's show was a Beatles themed collection, followed by some close up magic  We're now off Dover.
